pediatric dentist here. This is a papoose board. Specifically designed for pediatric dental patients that can't receive general anesthesia and don't cooperate. Not all patients can be but under general anesthesia or sedation, due to health issues, or monetary issues.

Wisdom teeth aren't fully developed at that age. This is horrible practice if it's true. I work in pediatric dental.

Creo que no es necesario llegar a estos extremos. La gran mayoria de los pacientes pediátricos que viven estas experiencias en un futuro ese trauma les acompaña. Para eso está la cercanía al paciente, tratamientos con sedación consciente u otras alternativas. Esto me parece una salvajada.
