Talk to your son. Talk to him and be on his level and honestly appologize to him. Not about the behavior but Not realizing your son was sad. Respect goes both ways. He needs to hear that Moms and Dads make mistakes and forget that the kiddos feel the same way Moms and Dads do. Im so sorry about your Pup. Im soosooo glad u figured out whats happening.

We get so caught up in life and sometimes we forget that we need to remember that our kids have valid emotions and opinions. sometimes that's hard when you're dealing with life, parenthood and everything that comes with it. great reminder that we need to slow down and check in with them
