Vim is the same, loud and cuddly 🥺 vocalizing really helps with managing those big emotions too, I cue Vim to shout to make it easier for him to think through excitement and stay in control

my dog shoves his butt into my shoulder for cuddles when he gets excited. I love him but he’s also 40 pounds and weirdly long so he’s too big to do this comfortably. does that stop him? of course not

my dogs are NOISY from a distance but once they get close they are friendly!!! we have a leash sleeve thing that says 'all bark no bite' which has been very helpful

So real I have a little mutt who like to express her big emotions with playful bites but she can hurt people who don’t know how to handle her and so many people think she’s aggressive or untrained 😭
