@helinaandoh03: Day Two at the Summit was pure energy ⚡ Tina Muparadzi opened the day by connecting learning, work and leadership to larger systems — and urged Scholars to stop thinking small and start building tools that drive real change. We then heard powerful contributions from Révérien Gahimbare and enjoyed a moving spoken-word piece by Helina Andoh (Skyward Dreams). The highlight: Ann Cotton’s keynote about Mola’s Child — a touching account of her work across Africa that grounded the program in lived experience. A rich conversation followed between Ann and Scholars/Alumni, digging into the real problems young Africans face today and the leadership habits that actually stick. In the breakouts I joined, one session on storytelling for influence gave me a neat structure: WHO (hook), WHY (tension), WHAT (call to act) — a simple frame I’ll use to sharpen my asks. The advocacy & policy lab drove home the same point: young people must be present where decisions are made — at community councils, workplaces, and government tables. My focus remains deaf education — especially training qualified interpreters so learners aren’t left behind. What struck you most from Day Two?
