If the hop would conect to UW milwaukee and Marquette it would be loaded. If we had a built train from here to Madison it would be loaded with people

I always thought the Hop should have connected State Fair to Summerfest with access to Am Fam Field. It would reduce traffic downtown as State Fair could be a huge park and ride.

Travel Europe... best transit system. They invest in their public transportation and rail system!! US fails miserably in this regard.

Using the fact that the freeways are used more than public transit to justify spending money on freeways always makes me laugh. If your roads are getting used more than public transit then that means you either don’t have enough public transit or no public transit.

I use the metro in St. Louis when I get back but Milwaukee is definitely behind the times. Not just for game day but just I don’t have to drive into St. Louis. Easy to get around and designed well.

Other countries have this( see Western Europe) , but the inertia is for roads. If we built more rail/ transit, the cost would go down and as it expanded, become more convenient. But instead money goes to Argentina.

the free way never paid for itself. why is always one more lane? why is it destroy another neighborhood? Does the Hop need to go places where people want to go? Yes. Did the project hamstrung by funding and conservative Nimbys? Yes! Let us fix the problem and also make the fare for it free all the time to reduce slow downs
