@cspanofficial: President Trump on Thursday said Israel will not annex the West Bank following a vote of support by members of the Israeli parliament.   "Don't worry about the West Bank," he told reporters at the White House. "Israel's not going to do anything with the West Bank."   Ultranationalists in the Knesset on Wednesday narrowly approved a symbolic preliminary vote in support of annexing the West Bank.   Vice President JD Vance said he was insulted by the vote, which took place during his trip to Israel aimed at shoring up the Gaza peace deal.   "If it was a political stunt, it was a very stupid political stunt, and I personally take some insult to it," he told reporters as he departed Tel Aviv.   Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also denounced the vote, calling it a "deliberate political provocation."   "The Knesset vote on annexation was a deliberate political provocation by the opposition to sow discord during Vice President JD Vance's visit to Israel," his office said in a statement.   #trump #israel #westbank #cspan
