I have put away groceries 1000x while one of my kids was sleeping. You did not one thing wrong. Sometimes bad things happen and there is no one to blame, including yourself. It’s unfair.

My baby brother passed of SIDS in the 90s... My mom recalls kissing him and BEGGING him to please sleep thru the night so she could get a night's rest... Its not your fault mama, God just needed him back!!!

swaddeling increases the risk of sids bc raises body temp, and prevents normal reflexes that usually wakes them up during sleep (startle reflex). Don't swaddle. Nobody doesnit anymore. Old thing and not recommended.

Safe sleep in the UK includes keeping baby in the same room as you for all sleep until 6 months. This means every nap + over night sleeping. I’m interested to know if the guidelines are the same in other countries? Xx

I lost my baby boy to SIDS last year at about 2 months old.. we had treated ourselves & our other kids to McDonald’s & were eating our lunch in the next room. I still can’t eat McDonald’s after that.

I was asleep 20 feet down the hall when my 2 month old passed. I thought "mother's instinct" would magically wake me up and alert me if something was wrong. It didn't.

Everyone saying sids can be caused by vaccines. No. There’s actually studies showing that sids can be caused by a lack of “something “ and they can detect the risk of sids by certain bloodwork being done as a newborn.

I'd say that this is almost never happen to Asian mom. We barely sleep to look after the baby. Even small short cry deserve full attention. Never ever leave baby unattended like adult. SIDS is almost like an accuse. Sorry for your lost, hope you're strong.
