I was a special education teacher for many years, now in a different role, but related. I feel this! Removing current aides to help those who really need it, is not going to help them stop “being lazy” and “get real jobs,” and magically financially independent. Administration is really pushing the narrative that no one matters but you…fuck everyone else, then preaches Christianity, which is “supposed” to be kind…
