My husband and I just spent our 5th wedding anniversary together browsing Costco and having a food court dinner 😂 he doesn’t usually run errands with me cause he watches our toddler so I can go in peace. But pre-baby, he went everywhere with me, happily!

My ex HATED doing anything with me and our child unless it was something he wanted and made everything miserable - the Man I’m with now will do any boring, little mundane task and we will have a great time doing it and end up laughing even the groceries! You’ll find it! It’s an odd but good feeling!

My great grandmother was at Macys and Gottschalks every weekend for bath towels and bedding. She liked to shop. And I would get to go with her. My great grandfather would come with us and be so patient and would take me to look for dresses for church service as a young girl. Loved those two and their dynamic together.

It took a long time for my husband to change his way of thinking, now after 17 years of being together he’s like okay where we going and onboard for it all. Zero complaints. We enjoy that time together and we get goofy, it’s nice and I enjoy it.

My forever husband doesn’t enjoy the task any more than I do, but he enjoys spending time with me and sharing burdens. If we’re tackling chores separately on a Saturday and he’s making a 10 minute r beer run ,he invites me , and says “I always enjoy your company” . He genuinely enjoys being with me and is interested me . It’s a really nice change . I wish this for all women .

That man does exist! Divorced for 12 years and became hyper-independent in marriage and it was 1000x worse being single. My new husband and I spend so much time together and we share the suck. Makes it fun and it gets done so fast.

Ive been shopping for years. I’ve been doing things for years. I’ve already figured it all out. You sir are here to push the cart, watch my purse, get stuff off the high shelf and lift the heavy stuff. If you’re good I’ll let you get one thing just for yourself. Just one though.
