Mayo said that my diagnoses were invalid because they think my testing was done wrong but they said redoing the tests would be a waste of time and I just needed hypnotherapy to learn to focus on my symptoms less 🤯

I live in Minnesota and Mayo is terrible. I have a pacemaker, AAG and a primary immuno deficiency disorder. They suck compared to other clinics / hospitals

I think it literally hurts the doctor’s egos when they don’t have knowledge or a direct answer lol so they take it out on the patient instead of educating themselves

they won’t even accept my request but i’m honestly not mad about it hearing the way they treat all the eds/complex people 😭 i just had to say i at least tried because ive had providers try to brush me off saying i need to go see mayo instead. it’s so sad to hear one of the best options in our nation has given so many people even more medical trauma

Interesting Mayo has had a great reputation as a leader in many fields. By chance has ownership changed over the last 10ish years? This drop in reputation tracks with what is seen when Private Equity buys Rural hospitals and ruins them till they fail and close or get sold off for parts.
