It doesn’t matter what the cost of our healthcare, we are done paying for illegals for anything. Once we get them out of the country, then we can start focusing on revamping these programs so that they actually work for the American people. Can’t do that on so many people are fighting the deportation of illegals who are consuming resources that they shouldn’t be.

I pay just under 300/month of my 4000/month employer provided ins. If we all had to pay full price do they not realize it’s this. Maybe sassy pants there needs to look at their paystub again

They do pay full price - it’s just that some of that payment is in the form of reduced wages (from what they would be if insurance wasn’t a benefit companies provided).

We have to do is look at what their monthly cobra payment would be if they quit their job and that’ll tell them just how much their employer is paying for them. It’s a lot.

Not that it really matters because its just semantics but employer sponsored insurance is subsidized, its not government subsidized which is where I think the confusion comes from. Subsidized just means support and organization or activity financially, so when an employer pays a share of premiums its supporting the program financially.

I know that I don't pay full price and that the amount that I still pay after employer sponsored Healthcare is still ridiculously high. single payer Healthcare that would come out of our taxes would cost less than half of what I'm currently paying
