💔 She’s Already Endured More Pain Aura is only one year old, yet she’s already survived more suffering than most will ever know. Living on the reservation, where resources are limited and families struggle just to get by, Aura was tragically run over by a car. The impact completely dislodged her upper leg from her hip — a devastating injury that left her in tremendous pain. Her owners loved her deeply but simply didn’t have the means to pay for the surgery she desperately needed. We couldn’t stand by and let this sweet girl suffer. Our veterinary team stepped in immediately, and after careful evaluation, it was determined that her leg could not be saved. Aura underwent a four-hour amputation surgery, costing $1,500, to free her from pain and give her the chance to live the happy, healthy life she deserves. ✨ When we say Aura is one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever met, we truly mean it. Despite everything she’s been through, her tail still wags, her eyes still shine, and she greets everyone she meets with love. Her strength and spirit remind us every day why we do what we do. Aura is now recovering beautifully and will be living with her grandma in the Farmington area, where she’ll finally have the comfort and care she’s always deserved. 💖 We stepped in because no animal should have to suffer just because their family can’t afford care.
