We are due our fourth and I’m very conscious of choosing a name that fits the vibe but I specifically would like a different initial and ending sound so each one is unique but in a way they still fit? We have a Sadie, Margot & Russell - due another little girl and would love some suggestions! X

Oh i definitely cared. Both my kids names are somewhat unique, but not out of left field. And i made sure they didn’t sound the same. Like my girl ends in ie, so my next couldn’t end in that sound

Each child has the same initial for their 1st & middle name but different from each others initial. for example one might be A.A. Last name. The other B.B. Last name. And then both have 10 letters in their 1st & middle names and each has the same amount of syllables as well.

what about EmmaJo. what be a good middle name? want to keep EmmaJo together so its what she will not be shortened to just Emma sister ae is Ella Katherine goes by Ella Kat

I care a lot. I spent a lot of time trying to make sure that our kids’ names weren’t too matchy or too clashy. 😅 First priority for my upcoming son was definitely finding a name we liked, but I settled on the one that flowed best with my daughter’s name.

We lowered it down to 2 names and ended up choosing the name that was less cohesive with our first child’s name. Both of us loving the name was the larger priority.

Yeah i have this problem, all of my girls names have a strong d or g sounds in the middle and they all clash because they also have similar vowel sounds

I didn't really think about how they would sound together, but I did accidentally give them all names that have musical connections ( but that wasn't the whole reason they're all named what they are)!!!

I have a Brooks, Scottlynn (Scottie) & Tate. I didn’t even think of them being cohesive. I just liked the names lol. Now their initials, when together are BST (buy/sell/trade) or BTS (behind the scenes) 😂
