Hi another diabestie ! I have a question about your tattoo on your arms, did you get them before TD1 ? You can really put your captors on them ? I'm curious because people told me to not get tattoo on the places where I put insulin or my captors (but I love tattoos....) 🥲

Even after having T1D for 33 years, I still feel awkward and very nervous putting sensors in, injecting my insulin, and replacing my ports and such (I’m not on a pump unfortunately) it can be stressful, which doesn’t help glucose levels 😞

I had a sticker on my Dexcom that said Free Wi-Fi. Even changed my hotspot name to Arm Wi-Fi. Had several people ask how it worked

😊 A lady asked my son if his pump was something that plays music 😂. She was nice about it though after we told her.... Had a bad experience once when I got accused of vaping inside a store, she gave me a dirty look like I was lying when I said I don't even vape. it's was his novarapid pen 🙄

What a lovely interaction, i wish more people simply asked questions because its an opportunity to learn and gave a conversation. A lady called to police on me once because i was taking my insulin and she assumed it was something else.
