Really you shouldn't give them honey until they are over 5. The risks of botulism is so high. Their immune system cannot fight is yet, and they can die.

One time I gave my 7 month old honey cinnamon butter from Texas Roadhouse and i started freaking out and thought I hurt him. 😭 i forgot the butter had honey in it. 😩

I always thought it was just no raw honey until the age of 3. so pasteurized or cooked honey is fine. I gave my baby when he was 10 months honey nut Cheerios. but I still don't give them honey from a jar even if it has been pasteurized before the age of 3 years because it scares me.

I gave all 4 of my kids Pnut butter and honey starting at 10 months all my kids are fine my pediatrician said the earlier u introduce foods the less chance they have of allergies to those foods. I started my kids in solids by 8 months.

When my daughter was born 10 years ago, it was 5 years they couldn’t have honey. And now it’s 1. I’m waiting until 5 years just to be safe with my new baby. That’s suspishhhhh lol
