@ntforge: I forged a few wrench knives this morning and wanted to get your opinion, which of these blade shapes would you personally prefer? I like them both pretty equally. The standard drop point has its point in a more intuitive position for poking, and the deeper curve of the edge is better for sliding the edge across a surface, but the wharncliffe's flatter edge makes it easier to sharpen and makes it easier to cut with the tip.
