Went to a mega church for help during Covid. My mother did . Yk they told her she didn’t tithe enough for them to help . I was like 21-22 at the time she’s been giving since I was in the 7th grade . She stopped going. Not going to name the church but the pastor is really known

yup my mom became an usher…I started being around more after hours and saw everything..the pastor had a meeting with the higher ups and told them not to be in contact with anyone who left this church…we left that church immediately after…

Imperfect people go to church. It is imperative to know & understand why you are attending church…make sure God/church is within you so when you run into the imperfect people in the church, it doesn’t take you off course. I hope no one is going to church to be amongst the perfect bc that is nonexistence. Its astounding how the criticism of church folks & that 1 unsavory experience will cause u to stop attending faster than some of the toxic intimate relationships people will choose to stay in for years🤔

I had a Deacon yell at me in my face to stop asking questions and being a wise guy and just do what I’m told when it comes to the “WORD”. I was done with Church after that. There was other stuff that happened prior to that, but that incident was the boiling point.
