This sounds crazy, but as a girl with wavy/curly hair I actually don’t own a brush 🫣 I actually just detangle with my hands and it gives me more control not to stretch and yank knots into damaging the strands. So I dry detanglr with my hands, and then use a wide tooth comb working in short sections starting at the ends and going up to the root. I hope this helps someone but if not thanks for listening ☺
