#FRANKSINATRA I wanted to make this video (I wanted it to be better) to honor Frank, on this special date. He left us on this day 27 years ago, May 14, 1998 of a heart attack. He left us countless legacies, both cinematic and musical. He began his career in the late '30s, in 1939 in a quartet, then joined Harry James' orchestra. In 1940, he chose the opportunity that would make him a star, he joined Tommy Dorsey's orchestra until 1942, when he decided to go solo. By 1943, he was at his peak with the Bobby Soxers, already becoming a star early in his career. His first feature film, Higher & Higher, came out in 1943, and he went on to make many other films. In the '40s, he worked mainly in musicals. But in the 50s, his film career took a turn for the better with From Here To Eternity, which won him his 2nd Oscar. He went on to create most of his classics, such as My Way, Strangers In The Night, That's Life and Something Stupid, between 1960 and 1970. He had some complicated moments in his life, but overcame them, and now he's one of the most emblematic singers of his generation. He is still very much appreciated and listened to today, and I hope for a long time to come. I'm so grateful to have discovered him, he's helped me a lot with his music. Although I could never thank him for that, I miss him terribly. This song is so calm and pure, I love it. It suits him well. The name is “Like A Sad Song“ Rest in peace dear Ol’ Blue Eyes 🤍 #franksinatra #sinatra #thevoice #oldblueeyes #chairmanoftheboard #oldhollywood #oldmusic #fyp #foryoupage #pourtoi
