The point of the Trust is so no one can put liens on it or garnish it or liquidate it for funds. It's how the rich/property owners get out of responsibility & culpability. It's why if you ever come into money of a substantial amount - put it in a Trust!! As someone who has received both state benefits & federal, they can come after you for all monies spent & provided (includes SNAP). Meaning they can take you to court & sue you per the agreements you sign when applying for said benefits/monies. So say you go and play the power ball & win the big $400 million prize, the federal government & state where you received Healthcare or benefits can come after you for what you received previously. And they absolutely will go back 20+ years. The More You Know 🌈
