you don't need to feel redeemed or validated. I'm jealous of women who prioritized education and a career. I thought the ultimate goal was marriage and family. women were lied to! to be able to live your life own terms and prioritize yourself is the biggest flex. it's very hard to find balance with a spouse and kids

I read something recently that has stuck with me. Married men live longer & have happier lives overall than single men. The same is true for single women in that single women live longer & have happier lives.

I am child free, always enjoyed being single, I have owned all my homes by myself, independent. I do have cats 😹, and no kids, never married. I did meet my soulmate in my 40’s and we have been together for 10 years but we don’t live together, I love having my own home. I am a professional, and feel like more wonen are looking for an independent life.
