My husband is a stroke survivor and I can tell you they do several MRIs after an episode depending on the magnitude. And then a few months after the episode as well.

Former medical receptionist here and I scheduled wellness exams all the time and never once was a MRI part of the exam. They were only scheduled when there was a concern or as a follow up to a medical issue.

he's on a IV dementia med that requires a recent MRI before getting it. also it's standard procedure to get a MRI shortly after a stroke.

My dad is a month younger than Trump. He has blood test diagnosed Alzheimers. He had a tiny stroke in 2020 (no lasting issues). He doesn't get normal MRIs... I have serious Migraine disease and only get it every 2-3 years. Normal MRI doesn’t really exist...
