Just a quick review of digimon time stranger, going to review Silksong soon and blue prince. Enjoyed Digimon time stranger, I disagree with games that lock in skill trees because you're sort of incentivizing the player to look up optimal paths, when it should just be trial and error and see what works for their goals. Even digivolving there's a de-evolution, granted the stats get sort of reset a bit, but that's the penalty for trial and error and I feel they could have done a similar system for the skill tree. As far as training your digimon the wait times being 30-90 minute trainings without the proper upgrades is crazy and does not value your time. This game was gonna be a 6/10 if it didn't have such great models, beautiful animation attacks, gorgeous scenery, interesting narrative, and fun digivolving paths. And a hint of nostalgia. Great game for digimon fans, but maybe not full price. And make sure you have enough time to grind the digimon's training.
