for anyone getting a colonoscopy: PLEASE demand to be put under. I was not put under for my first one and I will be traumatized until the day I die. DO NOT allow them to perform your colonoscopy without putting you under.

After my colonoscopy all I wanted was chicken parm and the nurse kindly said no. “Eat light. Like scrambled eggs”. I may have cried 😂
