@mothershipsg: On Oct. 30 in Meteren, the Netherlands, CCTV captured an NS intercity train colliding with the rear of a heavy goods vehicle. The vehicle had become stuck on a guarded level crossing after the driver reversed when a car approached from the opposite direction. As the lights flashed and the barriers lowered, the vehicle couldn’t clear the tracks in time, and the fast-approaching train struck it, scattering the container loaded with pears. Train operator ProRail said 5 people were injured in the crash and about 200 passengers were evacuated to Den Bosch station, Sky News reported. ProRail released the footage as a warning that large vehicles should drive through the barriers if trapped on a crossing. #train #netherlands #truck #fyp
