I did that when I fed my st. Bernards. I'd make them separate in the yard, sit as I prepared their dishes and then only come AFTER I set the bowls down in separate areas of the yard and if they jumped and came for any reason I'd make that one go back and try again and wait longer. I called them by name as well. ha! I think they loved it in a weird way
