@thenationalnews: The UAE is to receive Nvidia's most advanced chips in a major boost to its ambitions to be a global AI leader. The Trump administration has given the green light for the processing units to be used in Microsoft's data centres in the Emirates. The UAE is the only country outside a group of 'tier 1' US trading partners to get Nvidia's top chips to date. Microsoft this week said it will invest a further $8 billion in the UAE between 2026 and 2029 to advance AI and cloud infrastructure.
