The prison system and the police are under funded. What he's saying isn't untrue, they're hiring people with no experience, no knowledge, left, right and centre.

Pay me a good salary and better work conditions and I'd return as an officer!

imagine a prisoner telling a guard that they are a bad guard and that they need to do a better job at keeping them in the prison 🤣

think thats bad you should check out the HMP in Newfoundland. People are using something called the Duncan act to get time off their sentences due to the conditions of the prison. oldest prison in north America I believe. may be wrong about that though.

Put all the prisoners to mandatory conscription service for 3 years, if a war broke out during this period then put them at front line to defend the country … if there is no war during or after their conscription time then trained them to become prison officers .. this might sound a silly idea but it will work 100% 👍 this strategy will reduce the numbers of crimes significantly and if someone still commits a crime they would know that they have a good future ahead in the military or in prison service itself 😀

Can I just say my partner works in a prison and I can tell you what the STAFF think.. and he told me how many people it has to go through to be checked & approved for someone to be released a lot of staff Actually think it was done on purpose. Because this is near impossible for this to happen. Also the government offer people from other countries to join the prison force and offer housing to don’t speak a word of English. You can actually look this up on the gov. Website

They’re laughing and the MOD just suppress it with more budgets to keep the news empty of it than the actual budget to improve and hire real potential to ensure sentences are fulfilled and prisons are safe and a true deprivation of liberties.

Work load is just constantly going up for all minimum wage jobs in the UK. Hence there's a high turnover and frustrated staff wherever you go. Many youngsters are just sticking to doing as little as possible pissing off the people that actually want to do a good job. No team work, no training, no sense of responsibility. Management just be like: 'It is what it is'

Prison is just getting worse and worse when I was in HMYOI Glen Parva I was suffering with mental health and staff knew I planned to jump off the balcony so they unlocked me first then I ran to the top floor and jumped and now I’ve got a fused ankle for the rest of my life but my mum did get me compensation and one officer made me hop down the stairs with the bone sticking out my leg I shattered it in 20 pieces and had 13 hour surgery with two blood transfusions
