@woodlarkblog: There’s really something to be said about taking the time to make something with your hands— thoughtful holiday decor made from materials that can be given back to the earth when the season is over, reused, or passed down along with the traditions of creating (and just) being together. Here are some of my favorite holiday projects—yearly traditions that we began 9 years ago when my oldest was a baby and new traditions we’ve started in recent years. We reuse everything we make, year after year that can be stored. Handmade things for me hold memories of how much my oldest has grown; and now it’s the same for my littlest one too. It’s beautiful seeing them grow up together and I can’t wait to pass some of these things down to them. Will share many of these in depth again soon, as well as new things we’re making this year— often alongside my oldest or with my littlest napping on my back.
