@scarthesportyservicedog: I have been getting questions on what does a leading task look like. I personally believe the dog should be able to show the item that they are finding with a loose leash because dogs can go off the slightest body movement from you. You can add the leading portion with some tension or handle when you are confident they know it. Otherwise what’s the point of the task when you are directing them there everytime? Scar needs to know this tasks as if I’m dizzy he needs to be able to find the exact item and he can’t rely on me, that’s not the point of a service dog. #servicedog #scarthechairfindingdog #scartheaussie #fyp #scar
