@chrissyobranic: NOV 07: Panic |One Minute with God| The worries in my life are causing me to panic. How can I overcome these fears? Too often, a crisis exposes our unbelief and fear rather than our confidence and trust in God. Then we panic. When that happens, stop and remember God's faithfulness in the past. This will boost your faith in God for deliverance from the present trial. Take your fears to God. Reach out to him and grab hold. He won't let you go. God's Response PSALM 69:1-2, 16 Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck. Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can't find a foothold to stand on. … Turn and take care of me, for your mercy is so plentiful. EXODUS 14:10-11 As Pharaoh and his army approached... the people began to panic, and they cried out to the LORD for help. Then they turned against Moses and complained, "Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness?" PSALM 131:2 I have stilled and quieted myself, just as a small child is quiet with its mother. Yes, like a small child is my soul within me. My Thoughts 💭 My Peom seems like the best thing I can say for this topic so here it is I hope you enjoy. I hope it brings you peace . Peace in the Storm: When the Hosts of Heaven Rise to Fight by Christine Gayle When panic climbs and breath runs thin, When light fades out and cold creeps in— Just pause and feel the sails rise wide, Let storms unfold, but do not hide. The ship may toss, the winds may roar, But lift your head, though fear implore. Say, “Take this fear, this heavy foe,” Make darkness flee and grace bestow. Anxiety must bow its knee, A mighty King declares you free. And joy will burn through sorrow’s fog, For peace belongs to Heaven’s God. So if you’re curled in corner low, Rocking with the pain you know— Just whisper soft: “I wear a crown,” No storm can pull your spirit down. For when your voice, so frail, takes flight, The hosts of Heaven rise to fight. Let’s be real—pain grips like steel, And breathing breaks when fear feels real. Truth be told—it’s hard to fight When panic steals your breath at night. It’s easy said, but hard to do When pain wraps tight and breaks you through. You can’t think straight, your body shakes, Your mind retreats, your spirit aches. I’ve been there too, that corner low— I’ve rocked and cried and begged to go. Yet still I stayed and gasped a plea: “Dear Lord, draw near and comfort me.” And so I wrote my soul’s unrest, Just scribbled prayers, a heart confessed. Not fancy lines, just pleads for peace, For guidance strong and sweet release. And though it tries to come again, It doesn’t stay—it fears what’s been. Depression lurks in shadows dim, But strength flows deep from trust in Him. And panic flares when I lose grip, But then I pray through trembling lips: “Lord take this pain and help me stand, Trade fear for trust within your hand.” I wrote that poem in a moment of pure fear, anxiety, and panic—right after my relationship ended. Sometimes, those feelings come back. But when I reread it, I remind myself of how awe-inspiring and powerful the God we worship truly is. Why should I be afraid of anything in this world? Why should I panic over anything when the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of the universe—knit me together in my mother’s womb, knew me before I was even conceived, holds me in His hands, and loves me beyond any earthly love imaginable? What do I have to fear when He is on my side? When He holds this entire world together and knows everything about my life before I was even born? Panic tries to steal that reminder from you. But it’s time you remember who you belong to. You are valued—far more precious to Him than diamonds, gold, or anything else. You are His. And there is nothing panic can do to you that He cannot save you from. You are His child. His treasure. Don’t let panic rob you of that truth. Don’t let it steal your joy. That’s what my poem is—a reminder. I hope you enjoy it. I hope it helps you the way it helps me. #ChristainTiktok #Panic #Fyp #Bibletok #Christ
