I always think that if you arch your back but keep your upper back on the bench and glutes on the bench it might be harder but it counts more because your engaging your chest more.

Ego lifting is extremely performative I hit 315 for two in January this year and it took a steady like 4 year climb to reach that goal. Take your time, eat your protein, and train sensibly. I was able to bench 135 off rip, maybe cuz of genetics idk. Good luck brochacho
