@cgtneurope: All 20 personnel aboard a Turkish military cargo plane were killed when the aircraft crashed in eastern Georgia, Türkiye’s defense minister confirmed on Wednesday. The C-130 plane had taken off from Ganja, Azerbaijan, and was en route to Türkiye when it went down in Georgia’s Sighnaghi municipality, near the Azerbaijani border, on Tuesday. Footage obtained by Georgian media showed the moment of the crash. Turkish and Georgian authorities are jointly investigating the cause, as an accident investigation team from Türkiye inspected the wreckage early Wednesday. According to reports, debris from the aircraft was scattered across farmland surrounded by hills.
