Sometimes incredible people have no discipline and it's not because they're incapable. It's because they were controlled in the past, it turned out badly and they now have a bad relationship with the idea of control. Someone controlled them, misused that power, made their life worse, and now the idea of being controlled is so uncomfortable they can't control themselves without feeling like they should rebel.
