I ran into a really interesting problem when 3D printing stained glass guitar picks on my A1 with a 0.2 mm nozzle at 0.1 mm layer height. If I print 0.7 mm guitar picks with no top smoothing, no ironing, I get a guitar pick in petg that is capable of bending over on itself and not separating. If I add in ironing to the top layer, I get a guitar pick that will probably break it bent. What do you think that using ironing settings on your top layer is doing to cause the prints to be more brittle?
