A push is not a bookable offence because it’s not dangerous. An elbow is a straight red because it’s dangerous. Unfortunately for Ronaldo and his fans those are the rules of football. What made things worse is retaliation. You don’t retaliate when you are provoked in the pitch, a lot of players got red cards for retaliation Ronaldo is no different.
