hi gal! i had SVT so i know it can feel so scary during an episode. the heart monitors are so annoying to deal with so hoping you get an episode recorded soon! beta blockers definitely help prevent the episodes. i ended up having an ablation which was scary at the time but it was such a non invasive surgery and recovery was so easy and now i never issues. happy to answer any questions if you have any!

this happened to my mom last year and she hasn’t had any episodes since being diagnosed so there’s hope its just related to current stress, fingers crossed its the same for you 💕

WOW! I had to go through something similar & have a few heart monitors worn & finally figured out I have a mild hole in one of my aortic valves (aortic valve regurgitation) BUT I’m just glad I got an answer!! I hope you do as well 🫶🏼PS they have made those heart monitors WAY cuter and smaller since I had to wear them 😂😅

I had the same situation when I was 23 and I had an extra blood vessel that was directing blood the wrong way, which caused this. So I know very well what you're going through right now and I wish you all the best, I'm sure everything will be fine. 🤍

I have this too and was prescribed beta blockers for bad episodes, but it doesn’t take away how scary and uncomfortable this is!

I have this too 🫶🏻 I started having those episodes during my first pregnancy at age 21 and after 2 years of testing, MRI, etc, they found out I was born with an extra electrical pathway in my heart that causes it to get stuck at a high heart rate. I’ve been taking verapamil for it and it helps but she still tries to go to a high rate sometimes. I plan on having a cardiac ablation in a few months and I’m terrified 🥲

That’s why I’m getting an ILR. The ambulance actually caught an AFib episode, even though they always said my symptoms were due to hyper-POTS and just high hr. I’ve had multiple heart monitors before, but none of them ever caught it.😅
