@myfreegym: I showed my three-year-old a picture of this and he immediately said please buy me that. We have several other sets of magnetic building blocks, but these from @Magnetopia are my favorite. Here’s why. First of all these blocks are interactive with several of them having flickering lights to simulate water or fire. Next they come with fun characters which remind him of that video game. Next they have giant chickens, which makes sense if you’ve seen the movie. while these aren’t licensed or branded, you can tell where they got their inspiration from, and that’s all the kids care about. These are smaller than my other two sets of blocks, so each manufacturer seems to make their own sizes. That’s actually not a bad thing because it means you can get more blocks in a smaller box and it gives them more variation of how they can build it.
