There are many ways to feel Gods presence within your life, heart, mind, soul and Spirit. One, create and deepen the best possible relationship with Him. You can do this in many ways, such as prayer, reading Gods Word, putting Him first and above all. Remember, we put God first, then others (unless it goes against what God wants, because God comes first) and then ourselves. Two, Meditate and study His Word. Usually reading psalms whilst listening to thunder as background music is a good method for spending time with Him and praising God, also to be in peace with Him, but you can do whatever. I would recommend reading one entire gospel a day, the entirety of Pauls NT letters, and begin from Genesis so you can understand the history of the Bible, and yeah, however, don’t do it as in a routine, do it because you love God, remember that, because that is important to do it out of love, not a routine, if you aren’t able to finish that, because you may not have time, thats okay, just take your time and rejoice in His Word, and do whatever, but make sure to apply Gods Word to your life. Start steady, whether it’s a few verses a day, then a few chapters, then maybe a few books, build yourself up, and ask God for help. Three, pray for Him to reveal Himself to you, to help that relationship start and grow with Him, to have Him help you with becoming the best possible you, repenting fully of your sin, confessing truthfully before Him, no matter how bad the sin is/was, and turning away from the sin completely, and to ask for His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit tends to convict you, makes you feel guilty in other words, when you’re thinking of sinning and when you have sinned. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit, not a feeling, but a literal being that has a mind, has power, authority, and is known as Gods Spirit, The Holy Ghost, and The Comforter. The Holy Spirit will talk to you to do whats right, and anything that aligns with God’s Word that comes into your mind that is right in His Word, that’s the Holy Spirit, thats God. However, if thoughts come after you sin, for example, “God doesn’t love you” or “you wont be forgiven” etc, they don’t align with Gods Will.
