aftermarket parts are cheaper.. and you get what you pay for more times than not when they're mechanical like this..

I'm having my car repaired as we speak. I was told that they are having to use an after market part on the repair. Should I trust the longevity and dependability of this part?? I'm kinda worried. I've had issues w/this dealership.

More and more dealer parts…..problem is where I’m at dealers are cutting back deliveries and staff, phones ringing off the hook, then they don’t want to deliver parts, small stuff (gas caps) they won’t deliver at all

had an equinox with same code, had 3 high pressure pumps, pressure sensors, ect. long story short, replaced ecm and programmed. issue never came back. not saying it's what's wrong with yours but maybe helps.

Just traded a 2017 equinox in, the timing chain needed to be changed because a guide broke off. Known issue so whoever owns that one should change it before it goes.
