@mumsfoodies: 24 Days of Christmas Appetizers Pt 1 🎄🎅 Advance prep instructions at the bottom ⬇️ 1 x sheet puff pastry 200g Feta 100g melty grated cheese like mozzarella or scamorza 1/2 tsp oregano 1 x egg separated Honey Rosemary Pesto (blend everything) 30g basil 30ml olive oil 20g Parmesan grated 1 x garlic clove Pinch salt Pre heat your oven to 180C Blend the pesto ingredients and separate the egg. Crumble the feta well and mix with mozzarella, oregano & the egg white. Spread the pesto on the pastry and then spread the feta mix on top. Roll it up like a cinnamon roll and slice down the middle. Fold the two pieces over each other then shape into a circle joining the lose ends together. Brush with the egg yolk mixed with 1 tsp milk Bake for 15 min at 180C turn down to 170C (if your oven isn’t strong keep it at 180C) and bake for another 20-25 min. Don’t be tempted to take it out earlier you want it to be cooked inside Drizzle honey as soon as it’s out and top with rosemany. Leave for 5-10 min before serving. Enjoy hot or cold D 🫶 To make this in advance shape it completely and brush with egg wash. Flash freeze on a tray until it hard and then wrap it or place in a large freezer bag.
