@vblank_digital: Thought In todays society people drift toward a quiet sameness. We repeat each other's tastes, adopt the same attitudes, and move through life wearing carefully curated masks, brackets over our true selves. Yet beneath these layers many feel hollow, as if the performance has replaced the person. I call this the Echo Shell, the state in which individuals mirror the world around them so consistently that their inner voice grows faint. The Echo Shell offers safety and belonging but it slowly empties us until we feel like spectators of our own lives. Only when we dare to step outside it, revealing the uneven and unpolished parts of who we are, do we begin to feel whole again. #foryou #society
