@anneholleufer: A perfect little nibble or appetiser for the holidays! Creamy camembert with miso and syrup roasted figs. Sure to be a crowdpleaser 🫶 4 figs 1tsp miso 1 tbsp golden syrup (I used @lylesgoldensyrup) A little hot water to loosen the mixture Pinch of vanilla sugar Pinch of salt Black pepper 1 Camembert (I used @Isigny Sainte-Mère, bought in @Waitrose & Partners - not sponsored but it’s currently 20% off and very worth the price) A few fresh thyme leaves Quarter figs and add to an oven-proof dish. Mix miso, golden syrup and a little hot water until dissolved and smooth. Pour over figs and season with black pepper, a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar. Bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes or so, until nicely roasted. Score the cheese and bake it along with the figs until the cheese is melty on the inside.
