A fascinating insight into the 'consultation' process. It sounds like the former MP spent all that effort to meet the wealthy and educated only to confirm what he already knew, while it took a farmer to succinctly cut through the noise with a blunt question about taxes and the rise of populism. He should probably spend less time searching for agreeable company and more time listening to the concerns that actually motivate the 'Trump' question.

Bottom line. Cameron made a massive mistake. Every PM since has struggled with the consequences of that mistake. On top of that, there were was at least one PM that was a bufoon and one PM not capable. The nation continues to struggle I'm not a UK citizen but a concerned neighbour.

I’m from a very trump state in the US. For gods sake what do you think the benefit of that man is? Our grocery prices are outrageous. There are no job opportunities. They’re taking OUR citizens away. It’s just one catastrophe after another while they smile on tv and pretend they’re doing a good job for their online fans. It’s a shell of a country now. It will take us decades to undo the damage if we even get the chance.
