Another weird thing is that even in the Bible, in its modern form, it claims that God battles another God and loses, because the ancient Israelites didn't believe that God was omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, inherently good, or the only God, just the King of Gods, God of creation, etc.

Something interesting i find about this goes into the judaic and Christian mythos where some texts claim that many actions done in the old testament were done by Megatron, an angel who was supposed to speak for God but slowly began acting like they themselves were God.
