@velcheva.vibe: Europe and China are so different — and you feel it right away. Sometimes it seems like we’re looking at the same things, but understanding them completely differently. In Europe people often use softer phrases and speak more gently. In China everything is much more direct: if someone needs time, they’ll just say it. If they’re tired — they’ll say it straight. At first it’s surprising, because the communication style is completely different. There’s also a big difference in food 🍜 What we know as “Chinese food” in Europe is just a tiny part of the real thing. In China there are new textures, bold flavors, and very fresh dishes. Some combinations might surprise you — but that’s the fun of it. I brought back a couple of recipes, and we’ll cook them together soon 👩🏻‍🍳 Another difference is how people behave. Chinese people may look at you longer and more openly. It’s not rude — it’s just their way of paying attention. And the rhythm of life is totally different too: everything moves fast, with lots of sounds and energy around you 🔆 Moments like these help you understand the culture better.
