a lot of these comments are lame. do people not realize it's fun to go out and try for a PR? like runners love racing and the turkey trot is a timed race they paid for? why shame people for crushing it and doing something they love?

when I was in HS the turkey trot was just something you did with the cross country team there weren't paid events you just did a 5k
