The thing about straight romance in media is EXTREMELY overrated and tropes begin to get overused and generally written poorly but when the same tropes are used on queer romance (enemies to lovers for example) it really gets to the point where they WERE literally enemies for a certain amount of time that’s executed correctly rather than it being like one episode or two kind of thing.
