Get a Wise Card 💳 With a Wise (debit) card, you can create a Japanese yen account for free and add money to it directly from your main checking account. Whenever you use the card in Japan, money will automatically pull from the JPY account essentially treating it like a local account, so no international fees will apply! 5. Make an Itinerary 📝 Japan is really one of those places where a plan feels needed.
