🔥 I’ve completed my second prototype of a fan-laced crochet corset. This time, I incorporated synthetic whalebone as a type of corset boning, which is better than the spiral steel boning I used in my first version. It looks more structured than my initial attempt. The boning is securely stitched underneath the corset using a boning tunnel/casing. I used a sturdy wax cord that can withstand pulling for the lacing. I paired it with my freehand crocheted bustier top. This corset is for aesthetic purposes only and is a statement piece in your wardrobe. It will not function as a traditional corset because it is a crocheted version with added structure. The crochet pattern will be available for purchase soon! It is currently in the testing phase.
